My work is inspired by the great abstract artists Joan Mitchell, William de Kooning, Hans Hoffman, and Jackson Pollack.

I want the viewer to embrace their feelings as abstract art “frees our brain from the dominance of reality.” It “enables the exploration of yet undiscovered inner territories of the viewer's brain,” — meaning that the viewer can tap into emotional and cognitive states they haven't yet had the chance to explore.

I chose acrylic, latex, charcoal, and chalk because I love their ability to show color, line, and texture.
